US Completely Withdraws Troops from Syria
The US has begun withdrawing all remaining military personnel from Syria.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is according to The Wall Street Journal citing sources.
It is noted that this involves approximately 1 thousand American military personnel. The troop withdrawal process is expected to take about two months.
The publication emphasizes that the decision is not related to the rising tensions between the United States and Iran.
The WSJ newspaper had written about the withdrawal of American troops from Syria back in January. Thus, the US is concluding a decade-long operation in the country.
