"This is a great honor for me. A great and beautiful day, a new beginning," Donald Trump wrote in the Knesset's guestbook.
The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip came into force on October 10 as part of a peace plan proposed by Trump. The signing ceremony for the relevant document is scheduled for October 13 and will take place in Egypt.
According to the president, during his time in office, he has already ended eight wars, thereby saving millions of lives.
