Trump and Zelensky's phone conversation has begun
US President Donald Trump is holding a telephone conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
This is reported by Reuters, citing the White House.
On March 19, it was reported that Trump would call Zelensky at 5:00 PM Moscow time.
Before the conversation with Trump, the Ukrainian leader expressed hope that the United States would increase sanctions pressure on Russia.
On March 18, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump held their second officially confirmed telephone conversation. As reported by the Kremlin press service, during the conversation, the Russian leader agreed to his foreign colleague's proposal for Moscow and Kyiv to mutually refrain from strikes on energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days.
