The last photo of the head of Spanish Siemens Escobar with his family before his death has appeared

A touching photograph has appeared on the internet, which became the last in the life of the head of the Spanish branch of Siemens, Agustin Escobar, his wife and three children. The image, which captured happy moments before the fatal excursion, was published by the New York Post.

In the frame, taken shortly before the tragedy, the whole family is captured near the helicopter - they are hugging and smiling joyfully, unaware of the impending disaster. The Spanish tourists came to the United States on vacation and decided to take a sightseeing flight over New York.

The crash occurred on April 10 near Manhattan. There were six people on board: three adults, including the pilot, and three children. Later it became known that the deceased were tourists from Spain who were taking a sightseeing flight over the Statue of Liberty. Despite the prompt arrival of rescue services, the helicopter had completely submerged in water by that time, which significantly complicated the rescue operation.

Among the victims of the air crash were Agustin Escobar, who had headed the Spanish division of Siemens since 2022, his wife Merce Camprubi Montal and their three children. In his position, Escobar actively developed innovative solutions in the fields of energy and automation.
