Nicole Kidman separated from her husband after 19 years together

Actress Nicole Kidman and her husband, country singer Keith Urban, have split after 19 years of marriage. According to TMZ, they have been living separately since early summer. It is currently unknown whether the couple plans to officially file for divorce.
According to a source for the publication, Kidman tried to save the relationship and didn't want a breakup, but Urban purchased his own home and moved out of their shared residence. This was confirmed by an anonymous source to People, who emphasized: "She didn't want this. She fought to save the marriage."
Daily Mail, citing a source close to the couple, suggests that the reason for the separation was their busy work schedules and lack of intimacy. "Keith barely saw Nicole: she was on film sets, he was on tour. There was love between them, and a chance for reconciliation remains. But right now, they are not a couple," the insider noted.
Kidman and Urban met at a G'Day USA gala in January 2005, and were married in Sydney in 2006. They have two daughters: 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
In the first months of their marriage, Kidman helped her husband overcome alcohol addiction by organizing a special program for him. Urban himself has repeatedly said that his wife played a key role in his rehabilitation. For almost two decades, the couple frequently appeared together on red carpets - from the Met Gala to the Oscars and Academy of Country Music Awards.
"I feel best when I'm with my husband, Keith. With him, I can talk about anything, he loves me, and I love him. Before meeting him, I was afraid of many things, didn't know how to relax, and didn't know what happiness was. Thanks to him, I gained a sense of security," Kidman admitted in a 2020 interview.
This was the actress's second marriage: her first husband was Tom Cruise. Their union lasted from 1990 to 2001, and during this time, the couple adopted two children - daughter Isabella Jane and son Connor Anthony.
