Khamenei: Israel's strikes will not remain unanswered

Iran will not leave Israel's actions unanswered after the series of attacks on the Islamic republic carried out on Friday.

According to Al Masirah TV channel, this was stated by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"The Zionist entity committed a heinous crime by striking populated areas in the Islamic Republic of Iran. As a result of this aggression, many leaders and scientists were killed, but their successors and colleagues immediately continued to fulfill their duties," Al Masirah quotes Ali Khamenei's words.

Iran's Supreme Leader indicated that through aggression against Iran, "the Zionist entity has brought upon itself a painful and bitter fate." "The strong hand of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not leave this entity's actions unanswered," Ali Khamenei warned.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the beginning of "Rising Lion" operation aimed at Iran's nuclear program. The Defense Minister of the Jewish state, Israel Katz, called these actions a "preemptive strike" and warned his compatriots about the threat of a possible retaliatory attack from Tehran.
