Famous TV host dozed off on air

Famous Irish presenter Eamonn Holmes, confined to a wheelchair due to health problems, dozed off during a live broadcast.

As reported by BAKU.WS citing The Sun, the incident occurred during the morning program on the GB News television channel, while Holmes's co-host was interviewing the UK Prime Minister's Chief Secretary Darren Jones. The presenter sat silently with half-closed eyes and at one point dozed off for a few seconds.

Sources from GB News told the publication that Holmes has been finding it difficult to work recently. "Today on air he was falling asleep and speaking incoherently. There have been many messages [from viewers] about this," the journalists' sources said.

It is noted that earlier in March, Holmes complained about his health and described his health problems as terrible. According to the publication, he has been experiencing chronic pain since 2021.
