Billionaire Bezos begged his fiancée to break one tradition before the wedding

American billionaire, founder of the internet giant Amazon Jeff Bezos found himself in an unusual situation before his own wedding. As Vogue Italia learned from Laura Tortora, one of the richest people on the planet literally begged his fiancée, reporter Lauren Sanchez, to break a long-standing wedding tradition.

The entrepreneur persistently asked his beloved to show him her wedding outfit before the ceremony, but received a categorical refusal.

"Bezos begged to see her dress. But she [Sanchez] resisted internally because she wanted to surprise him at all costs, and she succeeded," shared the journalist.

As it turned out, the object of such keen interest from the billionaire was a custom-made mermaid-style corset dress by the legendary brand Dolce & Gabbana. The exclusive outfit was luxuriously adorned with Italian lace and impressive 180 buttons, each skillfully covered with silk chiffon.
