Armenia and the USA have begun discussing the opening of the "Trump Route"

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced that the Armenian authorities have begun discussions with the United States on the details of opening the "Trump Route" (Zangezur Corridor), which should connect the western regions of Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Armenian media, there are no agreements on the details yet.
According to Pashinyan, any third party that Armenia and the US reach an agreement on may be involved in the discussion.
"We are interested in involving an increasing number of partners who are reliable for us. In terms of correctness, Armenia and the US have already recorded the discussion of this topic. And third parties can be involved with the consent of both sides," he added.
The declaration on the creation of the "Trump Route" was signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, the United States, and Armenia on August 8 during a meeting at the White House. The details of the project have not yet been made public, but as US representatives reported, an American company will lease the road in this area for 99 years.
