A strong earthquake has occurred in another country

Earthquake with magnitude of 5.6 recorded off the coast of the Japanese island of Hokkaido.

As Oxu.Az reports, this was announced by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

According to the data, the epicenter of the tremors was located 111 km northeast of the city of Hachinohe, where about 239,000 people live. The source of the disaster was at a depth of 62 km.

No information about casualties or destruction has been received, and no tsunami threat has been declared.
