In Azerbaijan, a couple with eight grandchildren had their 10th child: Sometimes I forget their names
45-year-old Samira Mehralieva and 46-year-old Niyazi Khabibov, residents of the Sinovli village in Lankaran district, have been married for 26 years.
Their eldest child is 25 years old. And the last - 10th child was born on a significant day, specifically on the new calendar year at 00:02.
The parents say that the last child brought double joy to the family.
"I am proud of my children. God gave me 10 children. Having many children is not bad. Their clothes, upbringing - everything is in place. If I had the opportunity, I would want more children. I have eight grandchildren, sometimes I forget their names," said S. Mehralieva.
It should be noted that in the family, which has seven girls and three boys, five daughters have already created their own families.
