People with three diseases were warned against taking ibuprofen
Cardiologist Aurelio Rojas warned people with three conditions against taking ibuprofen - a popular medication found in almost every home medicine cabinet. His words are quoted by Vanitatis publication.
As Rojas noted, ibuprofen should be avoided in cases of uncontrolled hypertension. Another contraindication is dehydration. In addition, according to the specialist, this drug is dangerous for those with alcoholism.
The doctor also urged not to take ibuprofen if intensive physical activity is planned afterward. In conclusion, Rojas stated that even healthy people should not take this medication for more than three consecutive days without consulting a doctor.
