World Championship: Ibragim Gasanov will fight for gold today
Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Ibrahim Hasanov will compete in the final match at the U-17 World Championship in Baku today.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the athlete, competing in the weight category up to 51 kg, will face Iranian Binyamin Mayvan in the gold medal bout.
The World Wrestling Championship, held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, will conclude today.
Earlier, Greco-Roman wrestlers Ali Javadli (45 kg), Abdurrahman Huseinli (51 kg), and Isfahan Hasanov (80 kg) won silver medals, while Omar Salmanov (48 kg), Elmir Cherkezov (60 kg), and Orkhan Habibli (65 kg) claimed bronze medals.
