The main event of the evening took place at the UFC Fight Night Baku tournament being held in Baku.
As reported by Oxu.Az, in the lightweight category, our representative Rafael Fiziev (70.76 kg) faced Mexican fighter Manuel Torres (70.76 kg).
The Azerbaijani fighter claimed victory by knocking out his Mexican opponent in the second round.
It should be noted that earlier our representative Tair Abdullayev defeated his opponent from Brazil, Jeferson Nascimento, in the third round of the bout.
Another of our representatives, Farman Hasanov, defeated Erik Nolan from the USA by unanimous decision of the judges.
The third representative of Azerbaijan, Nazim Sadikhov, lost by knockout in the first round to his Brazilian opponent Mateus Camilo.
