At this moment, the grand opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup is taking place at the Mexico City Stadium in the capital of Mexico.

Spectators of the World Cup, which for the first time in history is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, are in for a spectacular show. The organizers have prepared a vibrant program reflecting the cultural diversity and flavor of all three host countries: musical performances, unique acts, as well as a large-scale light and pyrotechnic show that has already illuminated the stadium stands.
