The first day of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix concluded in Baku, gathering thousands of fans and the attention of world media.

As Report informs, the first day of racing offered viewers intense competition in both Formula 2 and the free practice sessions.

First, the second-tier pilots took to the track. Alex Dunn from Rodin Motorsport was the best in the free practice, while Jack Crawford, representing Dams Lukas Oil, claimed victory in the qualifying session.

Then the audience's attention shifted to the main intrigue of the weekend - the Formula 1 sessions. In the first free practice, Lando Norris from McLaren showed the best result, while in the second session, Lewis Hamilton in the Ferrari rose to the top of the timesheet.

The race weekend in Baku will continue, and the Grand Prix winner will be known on September 21.
