Ronaldo admitted that the current season will probably be his final one

Five-time Ballon d'Or winner and the all-time top scorer in football history Cristiano Ronaldo may retire at the end of the current season.

The forward made this statement in an interview with Vogue magazine.

"This is probably my last year in football. I want to leave a great legacy," the Portuguese said.

Ronaldo is 41 years old. He is a five-time Champions League winner, a European Championship winner, and a two-time Nations League winner. He holds records for the most goals in the history of national teams, European Championships, the Champions League, and the Club World Cup.

The footballer has been playing for Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia since December 2022. Over the course of his career, the forward also played for Portuguese club Sporting, English club Manchester United, Italian club Juventus, and Spanish club Real Madrid.
