Rafael Fiziev: Doctors did not allow me to lose weight

I'm not going to lose weight. Doctors don't advise me to lose weight to fight in the 66 kg category.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this was stated by famous Azerbaijani UFC fighter Rafael Fiziev at a press conference.

The athlete, who competes in the 70 kg weight category, noted that he doesn't want to say anything specific about how he will conduct the fight.

"I'm ready to do anything to make it interesting for the fans. Since Caucasian blood flows in me, I think there will be some wrestling. Therefore, I can say that everyone should expect a very interesting fight," he stated.

Note that R.Fiziev will participate in the UFC tournament, which will take place on June 21 in Baku. In the match, which will be held at the Baku Crystal Hall concert and sports complex, his opponent will be Chilean Ignacio Bahamondes.
