Khabib Nurmagomedov named the greatest athlete of the century

Former absolute world boxing champion Muhammad Ali is the greatest athlete on the planet over the last 100 years.
This opinion was expressed by former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, according to Red Corner MMA.
"Muhammad Ali is the greatest athlete on planet Earth over the last 100 years. Not only because of his achievements in the ring, but also because of the values he stood for, because of the lessons he taught, because of the millions of people he inspired. A true role model for generations," said Nurmagomedov.
Ali passed away in 2016 at the age of 74. During his professional career, Ali fought 61 bouts, winning 56 (37 by knockout) and suffering five defeats. His name became a symbol of professional boxing, and the tactical scheme he invented, "hands work, eyes see; float like a butterfly, sting like a bee," is still used today. He is also an Olympic champion from 1960. In 1999, Ali was recognized as the "Sportsman of the Century."
Nurmagomedov ended his career in 2021. He has 29 victories and not a single defeat. In 2022, he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
