Georgian fighter on UFC Fight Night: You are very lucky

Hosting a UFC tournament in Azerbaijan is truly a historic event for the country.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this was stated at a briefing by the star guest of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament, which will be held in Baku, UFC bantamweight champion, Georgian fighter Merab Dvalishvili.
Dvalishvili noted that he would very much like UFC tournaments to be held in his homeland as well: "I am from Georgia myself and I would very much like the UFC to be held in our country too, but this is a complex issue. You are very lucky. I wish all Azerbaijani fighters good luck in the upcoming tournament."
As a reminder, UFC Fight Night will take place on June 21 at Baku Crystal Hall. The main event of the evening will be the confrontation between former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill and former title contender Khalil Rountree. The second most significant bout of the evening will be a lightweight fight between our compatriot Rafael Fiziev and Chilean representative Ignacio Bahamondes.
As part of the tournament, Azerbaijani fighters Nazim Sadykhov and Tofig Musayev will also enter the octagon. Their opponents will be Brazilian Nicolas Motta and Kyrgyzstan representative Myktybek Orolbay respectively.
