Gadzhi Aliyev: I Expect a Successful Performance from Each of Our Wrestlers

The wrestlers have admirably fulfilled all the tasks set before them.

This was stated by the head coach of the national wrestling team Gaji Aliyev, assessing the team's preparation for the upcoming important tournament.

According to him, the team held a large number of training camps.

"The preparation included both physical and tactical-technical sessions. The wrestlers have admirably fulfilled all the tasks set before them. I hope that everything will continue in the same way. The team is in very good shape. It includes winners and medalists of the European Championship. We have prepared well and believe that we will perform successfully at the World Championship as well. Of course, several of our wrestlers have minor injuries, but I think this will not prevent them from showing good results. The competition at the World Championship is always very high, so it is difficult to make predictions. However, I expect a successful performance from each of our wrestlers," he said.

It should be noted that from July 27 to August 2, the World Wrestling Championship among athletes under 17 (U17) will be held in Baku. In the final days of the tournament, freestyle wrestling representatives will compete for medals.
