Azerbaijani boxers won 8 medals at the European U-15 Championship held in Budva (Montenegro) - 2 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, Khumar Jafarli (75 kg) took gold by defeating Turkish athlete Yagmur Eryurtu in the final with a score of 5:0 (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27). For the first time in the history of our boxing, a female athlete won the European championship title in the U-15 age category.

The Azerbaijan national team ranked 6th in the team standings at the European Championship, which was attended by 369 athletes from 32 countries.
