Today the Baku metro will operate in an enhanced mode

On August 27, the capital's metro will operate in an enhanced mode due to the match of the football club "Karabakh" in the UEFA Champions League.

As reported by the press service of Baku Metro CJSC, control measures will be especially strengthened at the "Ganjlik" station, located near the Tofik Bakhramov Republican Stadium where the game will take place, as well as at the "28 May" and "Narimanov" stations.

According to the operational plan, duty schedules will be arranged at the specified stations. Additional workforce is planned to be involved to guide fans and facilitate their movement to the arena.

Train traffic will be organized according to the summer schedule. Reserve trains will be kept ready to be deployed on the line if necessary.

It is also noted that if the match goes into extra time, the metro's operating hours will be extended so that fans can return home without difficulties.
