The State Security Service of Azerbaijan has begun an investigation in the Ministry of Health of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

Materials on identified violations in the management of state funds and property in the Ministry of Health of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) and its subordinate institutions not included in the ministry's structure have been transferred to the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan.

This information is contained in the report of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan on activities in 2024, which was submitted for discussion at today's meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Milli Mejlis (parliament).

During the audit, signs of criminal offenses were found in the actions of officials. In this regard, the materials were sent to the SSS, from which a letter was received stating that investigative activities are currently continuing on the initiated criminal case.
