The number of new metro stations to be built this year has been revealed

"The main construction work at the station with the provisional name 'B-04' is planned to be completed by the end of 2025. Along with this, in 2025, work on creating infrastructure, equipping with necessary equipment and systems will be accelerated."

This was reported to BAKU.WS in a comment by the press secretary of Baku Metro CJSC, Bakhtiyar Mamedov.

The representative of the structure added that in the future, the entire infrastructure will be created in the tunnel section "November 8-B-04". The commissioning of the station is planned during 2026:

"In accordance with the state program, in 2025, it is planned to start the main work on the project to separate the Red and Green lines, in 2026-2027 - completion of the construction of the 'Darnagyul' electric depot, construction of 2 new electrical substations, as well as optimization of the power supply system, construction of a turning chamber behind the 'Icheri Sheher' station, the beginning of construction of two of the four stations envisaged by the State program after the 'Khatai' station."
