It has become known when the academic year will end in Azerbaijani schools

The academic year in schools of Azerbaijan will end on June 14.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to axar.az, the Ministry of Science and Education has refuted rumors about the academic year ending in May.

The department reminded that the duration of the academic year in general education institutions is determined by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 66 dated February 24, 2020.

"According to paragraph 2.3 of this document, classes in primary, general secondary and complete secondary school begin on September 15 and end on June 14 of the following year. Therefore, the issue of ending the current academic year earlier than the specified date is not being considered," the ministry stated.

Earlier, messages about the possible end of the academic year in May appeared on social networks.
