Autumn in Azerbaijan will begin on September 22 at 22:19:16.

As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by the Department of Astrophysics of the Physics Faculty of Baku State University.

At this moment, the equinox will occur: day and night will be equal, and the Sun will rise exactly in the east and set in the west. Moving along the ecliptic, the sun will cross the equator and pass from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere. Thus, autumn will begin in the Northern Hemisphere, and spring in the Southern.

The duration of the autumn season this year will be 89 days, 20 hours, 43 minutes and 45 seconds.
