Iran and Azerbaijan will be connected by new flights: Tehran and Tabriz will get direct links with Baku

Direct flights from Tehran and Tabriz to Baku will be opened in the near future.
According to Iranian media, this was announced by Amin Taraffo, advisor to the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran.
A. Taraffo announced the completion of a plan to establish direct flights between Tehran, Tabriz and Baku.
"This issue was raised and agreed upon at a meeting between the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran and co-chairman of the Iran-Azerbaijan Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation with the Minister of Transport of Azerbaijan during the visit of the President of the Islamic Republic to Baku," he explained.
According to A. Taraffo, according to the plan, Tehran-Baku flights will operate four days a week, and Tabriz-Baku flights will operate two days a week.
"Currently, the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran is conducting negotiations and expert studies with the relevant structures of Azerbaijan to launch these flights as soon as possible," added the minister's advisor.
