Head of Melissa Group detained in case of illegal demolition of residential building with people in Yasamal

The head of Melissa Group company, Galib Mamedov, has been detained.

As reported by BAKU.WS, he was detained yesterday evening as part of a criminal case initiated regarding the demolition of a building in the Yasamal district of Baku.

The information was confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

Note that on March 27 around 11:00, employees of Melissa Group company attempted to illegally demolish a residential building in an area called Alatava in the Yasamal district, despite the fact that residents were inside. As a result of the incident, three people were injured.

The contractor and excavator operator of the company that carried out the demolition work have been detained, and a criminal case has been initiated.
