Baku Court Issues Verdict in Half-Million Manat Fraud Case

The trial of Vusal Jafarov, accused of fraud amounting to half a million manats, has concluded in the Baku Court of Serious Crimes.
As Oxu.Az reports, the verdict was read at the trial presided over by Judge Leyla Askerova-Mamedova.
By the court's decision, V. Jafarov was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months of imprisonment.
According to the investigation, Vusal Jafarov, while working at the "Darnagyul" construction market in Baku, purchased construction materials from entrepreneurs for a total amount of 509,400 manats. However, instead of paying for the received goods, he appropriated this money for himself.
During the investigation, it was established that 5 people suffered from the fraudster's actions and were recognized as victims in this case.
