Azerbaijani soldier told about daily torture in Armenian captivity

The victim Amin Musayev, who spoke at the Baku Military Court session on July 28, stated that during the 2020 Patriotic War, he received a gunshot wound, after which he was captured unconscious by the Armenian armed forces and subjected to daily torture throughout the entire period of captivity.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, according to Musayev, he was wounded on November 8 in the area between Shusha and Khankendi, and was captured on November 11. When detained, he was subjected to insulting expressions. When he responded, he was hit on the forehead with a rifle butt and forcibly seated in a car, where they continued to beat him - as a result, he lost consciousness. Later he learned that he had been transported to Yerevan.
"I was wounded in the leg. When they came to treat it, they deliberately intensified the pain by poking the wound with an awl. Although a drainage should have been installed there to remove pus, they didn't do this. Pus accumulated inside, and during cleaning with the awl, I experienced unbearable pain. The louder I screamed, the more harshly they acted. They even poured hot water on me - up to my neck," he recounted in court.
Musayev was transferred to Azerbaijan on December 14. After returning, he had to undergo four operations.
