Azerbaijan will experience a sharp drop in temperature starting from this date, with possible snowfall

Rain is forecasted in some places in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula tomorrow, and wet snow is possible on February 8.

As reported by Baku.ws with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service, the air temperature will drop by 4-7° compared to previous days.

Unstable weather conditions will persist in the regions of Azerbaijan until February 9. Precipitation is expected, with snow in mountainous and foothill areas. Precipitation may intensify in the Nakhchivan AR, Karabakh, Eastern Zangezur, Balakan-Sheki, Mountain Shirvan, Guba-Gusar, Central Aran, and Lankaran-Astara regions.

Ice formation is possible in some mountainous areas from February 7 to 10.
