Details of Limp Bizkit bassist's death have emerged

The bassist of Limp Bizkit was found dead in his own home in Florida.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Metro newspaper.

According to the publication, on October 18, 2025, a woman who discovered the musician's body in the bathroom called 911.

She told the dispatcher that Rivers was lying face down in a pool of blood. The operator gave her instructions on how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The woman followed the instructions until the arrival of the St. Johns County firefighter rescuers, who pronounced the musician dead upon arrival. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed, the publication notes.

It was previously reported that Rivers died at the age of 48. His bandmates expressed their condolences and emphasized his significant contribution to the group's development. The musician was one of the founders of Limp Bizkit, participated in recording all studio albums, and became a key figure in the history of nu-metal.
