Brezhneva publicly responded to Meladze's statement

Famous producer and composer Konstantin Meladze made a loud announcement on his social media page. After a quarter century of successful existence, the famous female group "VIA GRA" is ceasing its activities.

"I am grateful to everyone who worked with me on this project for 25 years. To the artists, musicians, administrators, arrangers, sound engineers, directors, stylists, makeup artists and everyone, everyone, everyone. It was a wonderful time, for which I nevertheless have no nostalgia. The main and best thing that was and will remain from this whole story are the songs filled with love, Faith and hope. I hope they will be listened to for many more years. I wish everyone peace and prosperity," wrote Meladze.

Interestingly, Vera Brezhneva - a former soloist of the group and ex-wife of Konstantin Meladze - commented on the publication. Her comment was laconic:

"Thank you for EVERYTHING," wrote the singer.
