Beyoncé became a dollar billionaire

American singer Beyoncé (full name - Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter) has become the fifth musician on Forbes' list whose income has exceeded the billion-dollar mark, reports BAKU.WS.

According to Forbes, there are 22 artists on the billionaires list, five of whom are musicians. Among them, besides Beyoncé, are her husband Jay-Z (real name - Shawn Carter), Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna (full name - Robyn Rihanna Fenty) and Taylor Swift. Beyoncé was able to achieve this new status thanks to her album Cowboy Carter released in 2024 and "the highest-grossing concert tour" of this year.

Beyoncé was born in 1981 in Texas. She is considered one of the most popular and influential performers in the USA of the last two decades. More than 200 million of her recordings have been sold, and she has won the prestigious Grammy Award 32 times - more than any other artist.
