Yelo Bank — banking partner of the ICPC World Championship finals

This year, the capital of Azerbaijan will host one of the most prestigious programming competitions in the world - the final of the 49th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). The competition will take place from August 31 to September 5.

Yelo Bank, which places special emphasis on the development of innovation and education, is acting as the banking partner of this large-scale international event within the framework of the Azerbaijan Banks Association.

The competition will feature university teams from different countries around the world. Each year, approximately 70 thousand students representing about 3500 universities from more than 110 countries compete in the official stages of ICPC. In the world final, 140 teams (with three participants each) from 70 countries will demonstrate their knowledge and skills.

Azerbaijani universities have been participating in the regional stages of ICPC since 2005. During this time, important steps have been taken in the country to popularize programming, increase interest in this field among young people, and develop existing potential. In 2024, the ADA University team had a successful performance at the world final, which was held in Luxor (Egypt).

The global competition will be held in Baku. It is organized by the ICPC Foundation, with ADA University as the host, in partnership with the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development, the ICPC Azerbaijan community, and with the support of PASHA Holding.

By participating in such initiatives, Yelo Bank contributes to the development of digital transformation in the country and promotes international recognition of young talents.
