The statements made by President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with Azerbaijan Television during his trip to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were widely covered by media organizations of various countries.

As reported by AZERTAC, Russian media outlets, including Kommersant, Interfax, Vestnik Kavkaza, and NEWS.ru, brought the key points from the interview of our head of state to the attention of their readers.

Kommersant focused on Azerbaijan's intention to supply not only oil and gas but also electricity to the European market. The publication quotes the words of President Ilham Aliyev: "In our region, there is no other country besides us that would be provided with such a volume of energy resources, whether it be oil and gas or electricity. By expanding our export capabilities to neighboring countries, we will also enter the European market."

Interfax, in turn, paid special attention to information about the expansion of energy exports, electricity supplies to Europe through the territories of Georgia and Turkey, the Black Sea Energy project, as well as the increase in solar power plant capacity in Nakhchivan. In its report, the agency also cited President Ilham Aliyev's statements regarding the TRIPP project.

The agency published information about the commencement of practical work on the Zangezur corridor, the current state of the Goradiz–Agband highway, plans to extend the railway to the border with Armenia by 2027, as well as the fact that the throughput capacity of this route will amount to 15 million tons of cargo per year. It was noted that the reconstruction of the Nakhchivan railway is planned, bringing its total length to 194.2 km, as well as the reconstruction of 10 stations.
