What benefits will be provided for passengers of the Baku - Tbilisi - Baku train?

The rules for transporting children and the benefits provided for them on the Baku - Tbilisi - Baku international passenger train have been clarified.

This was reported by the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY).

According to the information, children under the age of 5 can travel free of charge provided they do not occupy a separate seat. For children aged 5 to 10, a ticket discount of up to 50% is provided depending on the class of service, date of purchase, and season.

In addition, passengers were reminded of the basic transportation rules:

- a free ticket provided for one child under the age of 5 must be issued without fail;

- children can travel by train only with a valid international passport;

- if a child is traveling abroad with only one parent, a notarized consent of the other parent is required;

- if a child is traveling abroad with only one parent, a notarized consent (power of attorney) of the other parent is required.

- if a child is traveling without parents (accompanied by other persons), notarized consent from each parent separately is required.

It should be noted that tickets can be purchased on the official ADY website, through the ADY Mobile application, as well as at railway ticket offices.
