Weather forecasters warn: strong wind is approaching

Yellow and orange warnings have been issued in Azerbaijan due to windy weather expected from September 19 to 21.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in most regions, a north-western wind will prevail, with speeds of 13.9-20.7 m/sec, which corresponds to a yellow level of weather hazard.

In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Kalbajar, Ganja, Naftalan, Goranboy, Gazakh, Agstafa, Shamkir, Tovuz, Dashkesan, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Khizi, Siyazan, Neftchala, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Barda, Terter, Aghjabedi, a north-western wind will prevail, with speeds increasing to 20.8-28.4 m/sec, which corresponds to an orange level of weather hazard.
