Unmasking Ocampo: Pashinyan Must Be Removed
European politics continues to "hit rock bottom." Minval Politika has obtained truly sensational video recordings that testify to the activity of the Armenian lobby in European structures and to the off-the-charts corruption in the top leadership of the European Union. These are video recordings that captured former Prosecutor of the International Court of Justice of the UN, Luis Ocampo, and his son Tomás, where both of them speak quite candidly about their goals and the instruments for achieving them.
There is hardly any need to explain in detail to the Azerbaijani audience who Luis Ocampo is. An Argentine citizen, a former prosecutor who left his post amid a major scandal, in recent years he has turned into a paid Armenian lobbyist. And for the sake of fulfilling the orders of his new sponsors, this individual is ready for anything — both blatant fakes and playing on xenophobia and Islamophobia. We have already reported extensively on his foul-smelling "activities."
But now the scandalous aura around the retired prosecutor has taken on new colors. Ocampo's son speaks candidly in a conversation: "What we need to achieve is to remove Pashinyan, the prime minister."
But far more interesting are the candid revelations of Luis Ocampo himself. This individual states without a trace of embarrassment: "If I have a company that deals with these things, we can do it at cost, because, for example, right now I have a very sharp guy on my staff who used to be a member of the European Parliament. He was legal advisor…" The interlocutor clarifies: "Borrell?" Ocampo responds without a trace of embarrassment: "That very Borrell. So this person now works for me in the European Parliament. And there, in the European Parliament, I can address, I can challenge, I can direct questions and put pressure on Commissioner von der Leyen, and thus adjust European policy." Ocampo's plans are grandiose: acting through the European Court, to force the European Commission to terminate its contract with Azerbaijan and generally intensify pressure, working in tandem with the Armenian lobby in the United States. And the main lever here, apparently, is speculation on the topic of "human rights."
We present to your attention the video recordings and their text transcription:
Luis Moreno Ocampo: If I have a company that deals with these things, we can carry this out at a very favorable price, because, for example, right now I have a very sharp guy on my staff who used to be a member of the European Parliament. He was legal advisor…
Unknown interlocutor: Borrell's? and the commissioner… huh?
Unknown interlocutor: Borrell's? No?
Luis Moreno Ocampo: That very Borrell. So this guy now works for me in the European Parliament. And there, in the European Parliament, I can address, I can challenge, I can direct questions and put pressure on Commissioner von der Leyen, and thus adjust European policy.
And on top of everything, something new is happening, something I didn't know about. Completely new: there is a case in the European Court to compel the Commission to terminate the contract with Azerbaijan. Because the clause requiring Azerbaijan to respect human rights is something it does not comply with.
So I am discovering this new space, namely… why is this important now? The European Union matters now because Trump is already clearing the way. We are stepping onto an already paved road. We are intensifying the pressure, and I am going to do this jointly with the Armenian lobby in the United States. So we went in there and advanced something that is much more feasible. I don't need to break down a wall, the door is already open, and we just unlock it.
Tomás Moreno Ocampo: No, what we did is we organized people so they would realize: "Look, this is what's happening." To help them understand what is going on. And we continue to this day. For example, today there was a meeting. Today there is a meeting with activists, with businessmen, with people who are working on this case, on the whole situation with the Armenians. Right? With the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh. And one of them, a young woman, is running a social media campaign, because right now there is a big mess in Armenia. Real chaos due to internal disputes over elections. So: no, what we need to achieve is to remove Pashinyan, the prime minister.
Unknown interlocutor: The president?
Tomás Moreno Ocampo: We need to remove him.
Now this is really interesting. In essence, this is about crude interference in the internal affairs of Armenia and attempts to undermine regional peace and security. To call things by their proper names, Luis Ocampo, with financial support and at the behest of the Armenian lobby, has launched a campaign against regional peace and against Azerbaijan, in which European politicians and Armenian oligarchs residing in Russia have been widely involved.
Moreover, one of the key figures in this dirty Ocampo campaign was the retired head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell and his entourage. The Minval Politika editorial team also possesses information about the participation in this campaign of other members of the European Parliament and high-ranking EU officials.
The campaign was mainly financed by Armenian oligarchs residing in Russia, among them Samvel Karapetyan, Ruben Vardanyan, and others. It
