UN-Habitat: Working group co-chaired by Azerbaijan will continue its work until 2029
Azerbaijan, together with Somalia, co-chairs the current open-ended working group on housing issues, which will be developing international recommendations until 2029.
As Report conveys, this was stated by UN-Habitat Executive Director Anaclaudia Rossbach at a press conference dedicated to the opening of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
According to her, work is currently ongoing within the open-ended working group to support UN member states on housing policy issues.
"Azerbaijan is the current co-chair of this group together with Somalia. The open-ended working group will operate until 2029 and is expected to develop a number of normative recommendations based on current trends, consensus, and agreements reached," Rossbach emphasized.
