Training flights conducted in Azerbaijan Air Force

Training flights were conducted in the aviation units of the Azerbaijan Air Force.

As reported by the Media and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense, the flights are being conducted to improve the combat training of military pilots in accordance with the approved training plan for 2026.

Upon completion of receiving readiness reports from flight crews, a review of the pilots' theoretical knowledge was organized. The flight personnel demonstrated their knowledge of the conditions of the upcoming training flight, as well as the safety requirements and standards.

The pilots then carried out a pre-flight inspection of the aircraft.

In accordance with the training flight plan, missions involving takeoff, landing, as well as complex aerobatic and combat maneuvers at various altitudes were performed during daytime along designated routes on JF-17C (Block-III), Su-25ML, and L-39 aircraft.

During the training flights, the main focus was on the precise and safe execution of missions under various tactical conditions, as well as on enhancing the capabilities for effective combat employment of aviation assets.
