Three years have passed since the establishment of the Border Guard Post "Lachin"
April 23, 2025 marks three years since the establishment of the border checkpoint (BCP) "Lachin".
On April 23, 2023, units of the State Border Service established the "Lachin" BCP at the beginning of the Lachin - Khankendi road on our sovereign territories and raised the Azerbaijani flag, which was reported to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
The establishment of the checkpoint was aimed at preventing violations of the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020, in particular, the illegal transportation from Armenia of manpower, weapons, ammunition, mines and other military equipment for Armenian armed formations on the territory of Azerbaijan.
The head of state gave high praise to this historic event, emphasizing that this day marked the complete restoration of the territorial integrity of our country.
