The President of Mauritania congratulated the head of the Azerbaijani state

The President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:

"Your Excellency, dear brother.

I am pleased to convey to Your Excellency my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of your country's national holiday - May 28 - Independence Day, and to wish the friendly people of Azerbaijan even greater progress and prosperity.

I also reaffirm my intention to continue efforts aimed at strengthening and developing cooperation between our two countries in the interests of our friendly peoples.
