The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the President of Moldova in Copenhagen

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu in Copenhagen.

As reported by BAKU.WS, congratulating on the victory of the ruling Party of Action and Solidarity led by Maia Sandu in the parliamentary elections held in Moldova, the head of our state noted that these elections reflect the will of the Moldovan people.

The President of Moldova expressed gratitude for the congratulations. She, in turn, congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on the results achieved in Washington with the witness of the United States of America on the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Expressing gratitude for the congratulations, the head of our state said that the results achieved on the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan are of historical significance.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on the prospects for the development of bilateral relations, highlighting the existence of wide opportunities for cooperation, particularly in the energy sector.

President Maia Sandu noted that her country highly appreciates the support provided by Azerbaijan to Moldova, especially during the period of urgent need for energy resources.
