The President approved the Concept for the Development of Forensic Science in Azerbaijan for 2026-2030

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order approving the "Concept for the Development of the Forensic Expertise Field in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030".

As reported by BAKU.WS, the document states:

"Guided by paragraphs 3 and 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to improve state administration and regulation in the field of forensic expertise, as well as to ensure compliance of activities in this area with international standards, I decree:

1. To approve the "Concept for the Development of the Forensic Expertise Field in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030" (hereinafter - the Concept).

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall:

2.1. coordinate and control the implementation of measures provided for in the Concept;

2.2. inform the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan once a year about the implementation of measures provided for in the Concept;

2.3. resolve other issues arising from this Order.

3. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication shall monitor and evaluate the implementation of measures provided for in the Concept based on the order of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan".
