The OTG named the development of cooperation in the space sector as a priority
The leaders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) consider the development of cooperation in the field of space activities a priority.
As Report informs, this is stated in the Turkestan Declaration adopted today following the informal summit of the OTS.
"We recognize the growing importance of cooperation in the field of space activities and identify it as one of the priority areas of interaction among OTS member states through joint initiatives aimed at strengthening technological partnership, developing scientific and human resource potential, as well as deepening cooperation and integration among OTS member states," the document states.
In addition, the summit participants welcomed the ongoing joint project within the OTS framework for the development and ground testing of a CubeSat-12U nanosatellite-class scientific spacecraft, considering it an example of effective multilateral cooperation.
