The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan refuted the disinformation from the Armenian side

The Azerbaijani army did not open fire in the direction of the Haznavar settlement.

This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

The message indicates that the information disseminated by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia about the alleged shelling by units of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the Haznavar settlement and damage to a residential house from 01:00 to 01:15 on May 29 is another disinformation and does not correspond to reality.

"The opposite side, by spreading such deliberate disinformation and false information, is trying to form an incorrect opinion in the international community and create grounds for their next provocations. We declare that the units of the Azerbaijani army never open fire on civilians and civilian objects," the statement emphasizes.
