The latest footage from the construction of the road leading to the Zangezur corridor

Construction of roads, tunnels, interchanges, and crossings leading to the Zangezur Corridor continues.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Xəzər TV, the Zangezur Corridor will not only expand Azerbaijan's transit capabilities but will also transform the South Caucasus into a logistics hub. The project also provides for broader regional integration.

The Horadiz - Jabrayil - Zangilan - Agband highway, founded on October 26, 2021, by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, has strategic importance. It will make a significant contribution to the development of new economic and transport links in the region.

A specialist from the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Azerbaijan (SAARA), Ziyaddin Hasanov, stated that the total length of the route is 123.6 km.

In turn, the construction of the Horadiz - Agband railway line is being implemented in stages. The first stage covers the section Horadiz - Yukhari Marjanly - Shukurbeyli - Soltanly, the second - Soltanly - Gumlag - Hakari - Minjavan. Work on the third stage is also actively continuing.

It is noted that the final completion date of the project depends on a number of technical and organizational factors, so the exact timeline has not yet been determined.
