The Kremlin made an official statement on relations between Baku and Moscow

Relations between Moscow and Baku are on a solid foundation, however they are currently going through a difficult phase.
As TASS reports, this was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.
"Certainly, we have a strong foundation, the interests of the two states coincide, and mutually beneficial and respectful cooperation has been established. But, as it happens, there are difficult periods in interstate relations. Now is such a moment," noted the Kremlin representative.
He expressed hope for a quick resolution of the difficulties that have arisen, emphasizing: "The partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan brings benefits to both sides."
